The Andean Mountain Cat (Leopardus jacobita) is very rarely seen, as the habitats that are restricted to the mountains of Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Chile at an altitude above the tree line.
Estimated total population of only around 2500. This cat grows only about two meters in length, barely bigger than a house cat, with long thick tail that can provide a useful balance to maneuver around the mountain.
